In 2014 the Splitt collection is awarded an iF product design award and the Splitt and the Sport collection are nominated for the prestigious 2015 German Design Awards hosted by the German Design Council, where the Splitt collection is awarded a Special Mention.

Since the launch of the company, Trippen has won a series of international design awards. In 1996/97 the Closed collection is nominated for the Baden-Württemberg International Design Award with "Longevity" as theme. In 1999/2000 the Closed collection wins three awards for its innovative pattern solutions.

In 2001/02 the Cup collection wins Good Design Awards in Japan and the US and the Red Dot Award for product design.

In 2004 the Penna collection wins a Good Design Award. In 2005 the Penna collection is also nominated for the German Design Award 2006.

In 2007 the x + os collection is awarded with an iF product design award and the German Shoe and Leather Goods Prize and also nominated for the German Design Award 2008.

In 2009 the Box and the Happy collections win Good Design Awards. In 2010 the Box and the Happy collections are also nominated for the German Design Award 2011.

In 2013 the Closed collection is nominated for the Federal German Ecodesign Award 2013 and the Splitt and the Sport collections win Good Design Awards.
