The classic sporty lace-up silhouette is transformed by hand-dyed textile panels, bringing traditional craftsmanship and expressive pattern to a timeless Trippen design.
The upper is crafted from 100% GOTS-certified organic cotton denim, hand-dyed by Suzusan artisans in Arimatsu, Japan using the traditional Shibori technique. Gangi features bold, linear black markings across natural-toned denim, while Nemaki presents organic white motifs against a deep navy background. Variations created during the dyeing process make every pair unique.
Vegetable-tanned leather frames the textile upper and reinforces the rounded toe, lacing and collar. This contrast between patterned denim and smooth leather gives the design structure while preserving its relaxed, handcrafted character.
