Leather/Color waw
waw
This vegetable-tanned calf leather is dyed through and finished with wax, resulting in a light pull-up effect that enhances its natural depth and character. The leather is tumbled for softness, giving it a supple feel, while variations in color and texture may occur due to the tumbling process, adding to its uniqueness.
The bi-leather colors undergo a double-dyeing process, creating a distinct color edge that evolves over time. With wear and exposure to sunlight, the leather naturally darkens, developing a rich patina. The dye may stain your feet, especially in the initial stages. Over time, the leather softens further and may stretch, adapting to the wearer for a more personalized fit.

Care Instructions
Vegetable-tanned leathers are highly sensitive to humidity and require gentle maintenance to preserve their natural beauty. To clean, wipe dirt off carefully with a soft cloth, avoiding excessive pressure that may damage the leather. Moisture from both inside and outside can cause marks and color changes, while liquids like oil and dirt may leave irreversible stains.
Avoid overusing shoe care products, as this can block the leather pores and lead to undesired color changes. For occasional care, we recommend using Collonil Waterstop Colours for plain leathers. Small scratches can be treated with matching shoe polish to restore their appearance.
If a thin white layer appears on the leather, there is no cause for concern—it is simply surplus wax. This can be easily removed by buffing or, for an even quicker fix, gently heating the leather with a hair dryer for a moment.
